The political decay started more than five decades back. The stealthy underground crew of RSS with their frontline political troops was working on their divisive agenda. Some opportunists were simultaneously creating their groups. They colluded with selfish interests.

These fraternal relationships developed into friendships with benefits. That resulted in divisions galore on religion, caste, sub-castes, region, language and every possible dimension one can imagine. They created dynamites with a gram of truth as gunpowder and a bundle of lies.

They corrupted the minds of a developing society and country where most of its people are rightly ambitious. They could not understand the selfishness of our leaders of groups and parties. They were unaware of the damage these forces are causing to society and the country.

It is continuing even now. The dangers are manifold with an authoritarian regime ruling. It is an illegitimate child born from the relationship of greedy mindsets with divisive agenda. These Friends with Benefits are continuing their relationships in various ways.

The RSS family is promoting their divisive agenda in virulent and aggressive forms. But most of the other parties are threatening to divide opposition votes. Modi’s sword is hanging overhead. That is why they blackmail and make bargains as division costs more for others.

Blackmail is a Power Tool when there is lawlessness and anarchy. If Modi, Shah, BJP and RSS are the creators of this anarchy and those who indulge in blackmails are not lesser culprits. The best way to counter this is to speak the truth to the people. Congress should go for it.

This political decay will not end unless the truth is brought before the people forcefully, expeditiously. It is scary. We may lose our freedom of speech and democracy. There are no political leaders except Rahul who speak the truth and interact in-depth frankly with people.

Rahul benefitted from his accidental legacy of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty. He built on that foundation his logic and sense with his hard work. The opposition does not have a better leader than Rahul with wider support. Still, they refuse to see it. They need Congress and Rahul.

He is working to communicate with people, cadres, supporters, leaders through his open interactions in various ways that include press conferences online, offline. But it will require a lot of energy and the support system to carry forward, penetrate and spread to the people.

The ‘burden of dynasty’ pulls him down as he appears to be more sensitive and yielding. He is still giving in to power groups within. We can only wish and hope that he overcomes it with his focussed mind, clarity in vision and no-nonsense approach.
