The predicaments

Modi/ BJP/ RSS jolted foundations of #democracy, its institutions, norms, and systems. They are creating/ widening cracks/ weaknesses within the system/ society to demolish our democracy/ constitution and impose utopian, quixotic Hindu Rashtra on emerging liberal modern India.

The self-corrective/ protective mechanisms in our #constitution stand corrupted, dysfunctional and almost nonexistent. The scheming rulers are the culprits aided by corrupt/ docile/ pliable elements everywhere, including courts. Who has the moral courage to bell the cat?

There is still some life flickering in the remnants of our #democracy. The Supreme Court has the scope to restore order. It can analyze and evolve systems to control and correct all the courts. Many errors are rooted not in ignorance or innocence but in corruption or collusion.

If the Supreme Court cannot set right courts with the powers they have, how its orders will effectively mend the States, Centre, institutions or constitutional bodies of our democracy? Democracy is for the People. So, they are ordained to suffer for the failures of its structures.

The pessimism is all-pervading with rare denials. They blame the mammoth structures and the variety of people dealing with them. Many are working to safeguard and perpetuate their power and position but not on the job at hand. So no one is responsible till they get a scapegoat.

Most individuals working in various structures of our democracy think they are working safely within preexisting limitations. There is no overreach or underreach whatsoever. Everyone is right in their own way. But the problems that confront people are mindboggling. Why?

However, Modi/ BJP/ RSS and their wings blatantly, visibly and invisibly exert their overreach against every opponent. There are no checks whatsoever. Where are the checks and balances in the system? Why are they not working? Where the error lies? Everyone should think.

Sometimes Great leaders emerge to bring positive changes. But it is rare. Usually, some are good, some are independent or assertive, some are pliable, some have weaknesses, some make hay while the sun shines, and some, like Modi, are abnormal/ destructive. Wide variations exist.

Approach to problems may vary. Recently, a top judge with a good soul said that differences are normal between individuals. That is understandable for law abiders but not for destroyers creating differences among people to exploit them. We should not use kid-glove for them.

Another sermon is that when politicians stop using religion hate speech will end. Instead, why not dispense with law and constitution? We can appoint a few heads, say, a head, for each religion, caste, region and for group of non-believers to make appeals to their conscience.

People can appeal to God to change His desire, decision, dictates, as we know these ruthless politicians will not stop delivering hate speeches. But the reach of ED/ Modi is unlimited; maybe beyond the sky; may have listed God for His crimes before 2014. Will He help people?

Another ‘lifeless line’ is to approach Yama Dharmaraj. But we are unsure of his stand as he has had connectivity with Modi since 2002. No one knows who is under the command structure of Modi. Let us trust Dharmaraj. Hope he has accounts to settle issues once and for all.

We can breathe for now as some optimists are around to recover and retrieve the situation. Some souls are still working to save the people from the all-fouls regime. There is scope for change if there are attempts to create awareness about what is right, truth and sense.

Everyone can contribute to this effort with positivity and humanism. This is not the end. We can examine a possible, positive world ahead if Dharmaraj from Heaven and his helpers from Earth allow us to do it. The guillotines are not yet ready. That is, if ‘Yama Willing’.
