A Brief Introduction To This Analysis

An analysis involves looking at all angles, so it naturally has to be comprehensive. The subject of our analysis is The Problems And Potential Of India. But it does not mean that we should have complete data on every aspect of the problems in this country.

If we look at what is happening around us, that will become a sample for our study. We do try to understand the reasons behind the problems. Sometimes they are elusive or incomprehensible. We may ignore them, as they are not part of our job or beyond our field, knowledge, or abilities. But we chose to pursue our analysis.

The contributing factors to the problems or failures may be unrelated to the technical issues. They may be due to deficiencies in attitude, aptitude, or application of the characters associated with the decision-making process. Sometimes wide variations in performance are also seen between individuals or groups under the same set of factors and circumstances.

These errors may fall beyond the reasonable limits of logic and sense. Usually, checks and balances are provided within the system to stop the repetition or prevention of such errors. These may be done internally or externally. However, for many reasons, these systemic checks do not happen or fail.

When the defective processes of the decision-making apparatus go unchecked, we are caught unaware of their magnitude and the cost involved. We are part of a society that is defective. The handlers of the tasks do reflect these human errors and defects. It is all-pervasive in every sector and institution.

A comprehensive analytical process carried out internally or externally, followed by systemic corrections, can overcome these defects. Some institutions, some departments of institutions, and some of them under different heads, perform well. So there is nothing impossible about rectifying these defects.

The problems occur invariably due to the faulty process of decision-making for both the evolution of solutions and their execution. When we analyse further, a common thread emerges, revealing the characteristics and reasons behind such failures and errors.

We need a comprehensive analytical process to get to the root of the issue by collecting information through conversation and discussions with every source available to analyse and evolve solutions after addressing all questions and doubts of everyone to the extent possible.

The cost of this analytical process is absolutely nothing, as it requires only the application of the mind and interactions for collecting information, ideas, and other data as may be required using modern communication tools. We can use this process to analyse errors and effect systemic corrections if and when required.

Moreover, the comprehensive analytical process can provide near-perfect solutions. This is achieved by repeated application of specified actions step by step to improve the quality of the output. This is usually not done due to a lack of patience, perseverance, and the right aptitude or perception. Instead, we jump to conclusions and indulge in presumptive actions.

Most of them are explained in this analytical presentation. There is nothing impractical or negative about it, as it involves only the application of the mind to improve the process of decision-making. The only possibility is a vast improvement in the process adopted.

What is needed for this to happen is that we should have an open mind and be receptive and responsive, even if we differ on any point or issue. This will build the conversation, leading to further analysis, course corrections, and perfection for the benefit of all.
