Criticism of Rahul, Congress

My recent tweets:

> Modi has only one opposition party that too a weak one at the moment.

> Rahul and Congress have everyone opposing outside the party and within as well.

> It is all due to crab and grab mentality.

> Truth is difficult to sell in this chaos and confusion.

> Lies and greed are destructive.

> Perhaps we may have to wait for total destruction.

> If the Congress party is to depend on a single man or woman, that is the end of the party.

> Rahul speaks the truth; trusts his leaders. His leaders do not speak truth; do not trust him, support him.

> It is the end of Congress party if the Gandhi family fails; end of democracy if Congress fails.

> This needs to be told repeatedly.

> Those who want to see the destruction of Congress are playing straight into the hands of Modi.

> Modi will also destroy them more easily

We are to segregate issues.

> Rahul stands alone and speaks up. True. But why?

> Why other leaders do not carry messages to the ground?

> Why Rahul is targetted for all failures of leaders?

> Public perception goes against him. Our judgements/ agreements may not matter much.

> There are many issues with the Congress party. They are not simply matching meticulous, secretive game that BJP plays. Every point is to be listed and analysed in the background. They do have a team. It is not measuring to requirement. They should be open to ideas/ interactions.

> Pros and cons of any idea, suggestion involves discussions involving parties concerned. Any ’Natwarlal’ can do mischief or destruction. Countering and checkmating them legally does require a lot more efforts and planning. The effort of Congress is presently negligible.

> Congress is trying to build up the popularity of Rahul on his truth, honestly; that of Congress on its principles, past performances. Those may have value in a fair game but not against ’Natwarlals’.

> It may take many pages if not ’ages’ to list/ rectify. But it has to be done.

> Rahul and Sonia are aware of problems of Congress, their depth. They are existing for decades.

> Inactive senior people should give way to youngsters.

> Rahul listens, respects seniors but he is capable of taking bolder decisions.

> Definitely, they should move faster for solutions.

> Congress always go steady and proceed with caution.

> Moreover, most of its leaders are inactive. If only a few, you can change. You cannot overturn drastically. It will create turbulence and will be counterproductive.

> Deeper analysis is needed; solutions should be evolved.

> Congress leaders may have ideological conviction, Congress culture and belief.

> They as individuals are more sane and wise. Their personal ambition, egos overpower their beliefs.

> They should bow and surrender themselves before people and party. Rahul does it. They don’t.

> Instead, they expect Rahul to change to suit and match their characteristics and requirements. Congress needs its leaders. If they do not change to measure up to the needs of party and people, Congress has to aggressively allow, create new leaders in a planned healthy operation.

> Every issue that is unsettled or creates doubts should be taken appropriately at all levels. There are many things to do for Rahul and Congress party. Open membership, direct, open elections for the party, creating mass leaders to keep in touch with people.

> There is presently a need for open membership for supporters in addition to active party members/ cadres. When its cadres are herded by its leaders to different sheds/ parties, Congress gets its lifeline only through such silent supporters. It needs them. Rules may be amended.

> Congress is mass-based. The present rules do not accommodate them but only its leaders and cadres who have become more mobile with the change of winds and weather. There is scope for using/ involving its supporters in various ways including the election of its leaders. Why not?
